FOUNDED IN 1906 BY
THE FATHER OF KARL & EMIL.
The father of two brothers - Karl & Emil started GAUSMANN company as a small furniture manufacturer in Hid-desen, the province of Nordrhein West-falen, district Lippe in Germany, also lo-cates the famous “German of Herman”monument.
SINCE 1906
Began since 1906 as a small furniture manufacturing company, the company known as "GAUSMANN" today was founded by the father of the two brothers Karl and Emil.
The company was located in the small town named Hiddesen in the province of Nordrhein Westfalen, district Lippe in Germany. To be more specific, it is in the Southern part of the Teutoburger Wald.
After the early death of the founder in 1920, the two sons named the company as K. & E. GAUSMANN which has became the first company that specialised on sofa frameworks then expanded to design works and finally the complete production of a sofa set

The two brothers were separated in 1952 and Emil Gausmann leads the company individually till his daughther,Hannelore Gausmann joined into the sales team several yearslater.
IN 1963
Her brother Jochen Hilker stepped into the picture in1963 with full ambitious, established and developed a morecontemporary European product line.
